The Islamic movements are still trying to trade on religion in order to gain some political benefits and win the parliamentary elections in certain places.
Coptic voters were prevented from voting at Abwan village, Matay, and the city of Minya.
Dr. Ihab Ramzy, a Coptic candidate at Matay, said that the Islamic candidates used Islamic slogans in order to mobilize the people to vote in favor of the Islamic candidates and incite them against the Coptic candidates.
