Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood Office Abroad Condemns Paris Killings

The Muslim organization said it "categorically condemns the multiple terrorist attacks and mourns the loss of and expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims". I wonder if they have developed a few cynicism about all the claims made about who and what the Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects. Iranian officials were quick to criticize the Islamic State group, which took credit for the attacks, urging for the global community to stand together against the extremist group. Many have also objected to the term "Muslim terrorists", although others argue that it's appropriate. A few enterprising Twitter users even posted an excerpt from the Quran, which proves that Muslims are not terrorists by condemning violence. The Muslim organization said it "categorically condemns the multiple terrorist attacks and mourns the loss of and expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims". Just as in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the world has again been naturally divided into two: those who are victims of terrorism and identify with those in pain, against those who partner, whether practically or empathetically, with those who have declared war on the free world. Much like American prisons, French prisons suffer from demographic issues - more than half of those imprisoned in France are Muslim, making it easy for jailed militants to recruit for their cause from those already marginalized by society. Our thoughts and prayers are with the French people.

Trinity College lecturer Dr Ali Selim, one of the most senior Muslim clerics in Ireland, said: "I definitely condemn what happened and classify it as an atrocity that can not be justified under any circumstances". Terrorism has no religion or moral standing.

We must commit to each other to defeat it. Godless cowards attack unarmed, randomly selected, innocent people. Did you know they actually have a formal editorial policy not to use the word "terrorist"?

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks, but the Islamic State is a prime suspect according to security analysts. We must not let these terrorists divide us, otherwise the terrorists will win.

Muslim world, on the whole is drenched with intolerant extremists following the literalist and fundamental version of Islam.

In this, Isis is following al-Qaida, which it split nearly three years ago. There are something around 1.5 billion Muslims on Earth, and to consider each of them responsible for the actions of a terrorist organization is absurd and inhumane.

This leads to the question of whether Britain is at risk of attack from Islamic State. For example, Russian Federation and the United States appear to be bombing and intervening on opposite sides of the dispute in Syria. ISIS desires nothing more than a black-and-white world where there is Islam and the "Crusaders", i.e. everyone else.

Over the years, since successive violent acts had narrowed the grey zone to the point where by the end of 2014 "the time had come for another event to ... bring division to the world and destroy the grey zone everywhere".

Obama has encouraged such segregation, partly by letting Islamic groups substitute for USA anti-terror forces in the nation's growing Islamic enclaves.
