After the Paris attacks, many activists rushed to put the French flag on their profiles on Facebook. They claimed they sympathize with the French people in their crisis, which is great feeling. However, none of them put the picture of the Egyptian flag in any crisis that hit Egypt since the overthrow of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Moreover, some of them claimed that France has never attacked Egypt unlike America, Britain and Israel. They totally forgot about the French occupation in Egypt that killed many people and defiled al-Azhar mosque in the 18th century by entered it with horses. They also forgot about the French occupation in Algeria in the 20th century.
It’s wonderful to find Sheikh Qaradawi denouncing the attacks considering them against humanity. He also forgot that his terrorist group is killing his fellow Egyptians. They are willing to serve other servants, but not their master! They forget about their people and think that France is so sweet, but not their own homeland.
