Dr. Younes Makhioun, head of al-Nour Party, attacked Pope Tawadros II, for visiting Jerusalem to attend the funeral of Abba Abraham, Bishop of Jerusalem.
He added that such visit is a form of normalization with the Israeli occupation, and Pope Tawadros is the first Coptic Pope to enter Jerusalem among the Coptic Patriarchs in the modern era.
