Anba Arsana, bishop of the Netherlands, ordained Deacon Stephen as general priest in the Netherlands, which is the first priest ordination in the diocese.The prayers were attended by Abba Rafael, Secretary of the Holy Synod, and priests of the diocese.
Media Center of the Coptic Orthodox Church said that the new priest will spend a forty day spiritual retreat at Paromos Monastery in Wadi Natrun in Egypt.
