Abba Arsany, Bishop of the Netherlands opened the second largest Coptic church in the Netherlands on Sunday.
A number of Egyptian officials and the congregation in the Netherlands attended the ceremony.
Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, had laid the foundation stone of the church last May during a visit to the Netherlands.
