Father Cyril Farouk, the priest of the Church of the Martyr St. George in Awamia village, Suhag, denied rumors of attempt burned of the church.
He explained that couple of children were playing with fire near the church, but there was no real attempts to burn the church.
Police were reported and the matter is currently under investigation.
