Isaac Ibrahim, Coptic activist, denounced statement of Al-Azhar that accuses Coptic church of being responsible for a satellite channel called al-Hayat that attacks Islam in its programs.
He added that such provocative statement by Al-Azhar has chosen very bad timing before Christmas, and is even more provocative than the actual satellite channel.
It’s worth mentioning that the channel was launched during Mubarak era, and the church has announced several times that it has nothing to do with the channel or the priest that hosts several shows in it.
