European Union of Coptic Organization for Human Rights EUCOHR denounced the arrest of writer and researcher Islam Buhairi who was sent to jail after he was convicted according to contempt of religion law.
It added in a statement that the President called to renew the religious discourse, but those who respond to his call are sent to jail like Islam Buhairi.
EUCOHR called to cancel such defective law since it’s used to terrorize people who think in Egypt! It also called to release all those who were sent to jail according to this law.
