Sheikh Islam Nawawi, Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Religious Endowments, congratulated the Copts on Christmas.
He added that he doesn’t accept the Christian faith, but rather rejoice for Christmas as they believe in Jesus as prophet.
He stressed that Egyptians should unite and reject extremism that leads to terrorism.
