Sharqiya prosecutors detained 15 Muslim Brotherhood members for 15 days pending investigation over charges of joining a banned group, inciting violence and for calling for protests on the January 25 Revolution anniversary.
According to a report submitted to the security director of Sharqiya, Major General Hassan Seif, the defendants printed leaflets that incited riots on the anniversary of the January 25 Revolution.
The police arrested the defendants and were referred to the prosecutor for interrogation.
