Lawyer Hamdy Asiouty told Copts United that it’s shameful to arrest 4 Coptic children on charges of defamation of religions for a 20 seconds video in which they criticize ISIS.
He added that law of contempt of religions can’t be made void as the parliament fear the Salafis, but it can be amended.
He explained that renewal of religious discourse is very hard as many extremist scholars inside Al-Azhar refuse such renewal.
