Students of another school in Minya demonstrated against the appointment of a Christian principal of their school.
Dozens of students had held sit-in in Beni Mazar secondary school demanding the discharge of the new Coptic Christian principal Mirvat Sefin. Yet, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Minya promised to fulfill their demands.
The principal was offered the job in another school, but the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Minya spread the news and incited the children to demonstrate against her appointment.
