Reconciliation session ends a dispute over a piece of land

Customary reconciliation session was held in Qena to put an end to a dispute over a piece of land between Christian and Muslim families. Customary reconciliation session was held in Qena to put an end to a dispute over a piece of land between Christian and Muslim families.

The Muslim family prevented the Christians from reaching their land claiming they don’t own it.

In the session, the Christian family gave up one carat of their land in order to restore the other 5 carats.

It’s worth mentioning that the Coptic family own the land since 1927 and have the due documents, but the customary reconciliation session doesn’t acknowledge documents or law.
