Dr. Abdel-Moneim Fouad, professor of religion and philosophy at Al-Azhar University, denounced a campaign by Dr. Amna Nosir, member of the House of Representatives, to prevent niqab by law.
He added that such decision is blatant encroachment on personal freedoms. He advised the MPs to work on preventing nudity instead of preventing modesty.
