North Sinai Security Department hasarrested 26 suspects during a province-wide operation to catch fugitives from justice.
Security sources said that the swoop targeted criminals who had escaped from prison, as well as those involved in acts of thuggery and violence.
Criminal investigation personnel from several police departments worked with the Central Security Forces and other police units to track the criminals and make raids in multiple locations, according to a press release.
