Abba Anthony, bishop of Ireland, ordained a the deacon Reda Hanna a general priest at Kerr Cultural Center in Ireland, and named him Father Cyril.
The prayers were attended by Abba Abaker, Bishop of Scandinavia, and Abba Mina, bishop of western Canada.
The ordination was also attended by Ambassador of Egypt to Ireland Soha Gendy and a number of Irish MPs.
