Egypt’s Prime Minister Sherif Ismail approved Tuesday a license to establish an industrial zone in the 10th of Ramadan city of Sharqia governorate, according to a statement from the Cabinet.
Egyptian-Kuwaiti Company Orchid has been authorized to build up the industrial zone for logistic services of preparing, packaging and warehousing, the statement added.
No further details were mentioned in the statement.
Egypt has launched a number of large-scale development projects, including establishing a logistic hub and industrial processing center at the Suez Canal to be a gateway for European/Asian markets.
