Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church issued a statement to ask the monks of Wadi Rayyan monastery to obey the church and the state.
Statement assured that the Church does not oppose projects of the state, and published a video of monk Elisha of St. Macarious monastery in which he asks the monks of Wadi Rayyan monastery to accept construction of the road inside of the monastery.
