Egypt's Association for Development and Human Rights launched a campaign in support of Egypt's president Hosni Mubarak son Gamal Mubarak in next year’s presidential elections
Campaigners put up huge posters of the younger Mubarak in downtown Cairo.
A director of the association Ayman Taha said that “We will support Gamal Mubarak for president if his father chooses not to run for another term next year”
Taha added that “But we will choose Hosni Mubarak if he decides to run”
Also, Taha denied that the posters had anything to do with next month’s parliamentary elections.
Taha said that he obtained all necessary permits from the authorities before putting up the posters.
He said “We held a big celebration downtown for the launch of our campaign,” adding that “There was a very high attendance”
