Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark See, met with Mr. Younadam Kanna, member of the Iraqi parliament and head of the Rafidain bloc in parliament, at the papal residence in the Great Cathedral of St. Mark in Abbassiya.
Kanna explained to the pope the bad conditions of Christians in Iraq since the American invasion of their country.
It’s worth mentioning that the Rafidain bloc includes Christian members of the Iraqi parliament.
