Exaggerating the visit of the king

I fully understand that the visit of the Saudi king to Egypt is a great event, but we didn’t deal with visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin this way. Despite the support of the Saudi king and his family to Egypt since the revolution of June 30, I do not agree with such exaggeration and excessive welcoming. Our president visited Saudi Arabia several times and was not welcomed this way.

I was not surprised that guard of King Salman threw his napkin on the floor. He may feel at home, but he didn’t mean to do this in front of several cameras. He must understand that our media can publish such photos unlike his media that don’t enjoy the same level of freedom.

Around sixteen agreements were signed by the Saudi king in Egypt. It’s more important to apply those conventions, and more importantly, the approval of the Egyptian parliament, that can accept or reject such conventions, unlike Saudi Arabia where no Parliament can rejection of governmental laws and orders of the king. It was greet that the King met with Sheikh of Al-Azhar and Pope Tawadros II.

Naming the land bridge between Saudi Arabia and Egypt on the name of King Salman is a good choice by president al-Sisi who refused to call his name on such great project. The president decided to honor the king and focused on making Egypt benefit from the project.

Finally, how come one of the agreements aim to fight corruption, while kings and leaders are involved with documents of Panama that proves their corruption?
