Spokesman for the Coptic Orthodox Church said the Diocese of the Netherlands bought a Catholic monastery in Eastern of the Netherlands in order to establish a Coptic monastery.
Statement added that Abba Arsany, Bishop of the Diocese, signed a purchase contract and received the monastery building.
It’s worth mentioning that the monastery measures 29 acres and is located in a quiet area. The monastery contains halls and a large church and a library in addition to the house of solitude.
