Monarch of the State of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa will pay Egypt a two-day visit Tuesday to discuss issues of the mutual concerns with President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, Youm7 reported.
The visit aims to boost bilateral relations, particularly in the economic field, Bahraini ambassador to Cairo Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa was quoted by Egypt’s state-owned MENA news agency.
It is scheduled that a number of cooperation deals will be signed between both countries in fields of pharmaceuticals and land reclamation, said Egyptian-Bahraini Business Council chairperson Mohamed al-Sewidi said Sunday.
Sheikh Hamad visited Egypt in March 2015 when he headed a delegation in Sharm al Sheikh Economic Conference. He also attended the inauguration of the new Suez Canal in August 2015.
The investment volume of Bahrain in Egypt reached $955 million Aug.t 31, 2015, according to a report issued from the General Authority for Investments and Free Zones.
