On the occasion of Easter that Copts are celebrating next Sunday, I call the president to have mercy on the Copts who were wronged by the Egyptian Judiciary in order to please fanatics even if against justice. I call him to issue presidential amnesty.
This call comes also by several organizations in order to achieve justice for those Copts.
Here I mention several names of those Copts including Girgis Baromi who is impotent but sentenced to prison for raping a child! There are several names in the same list including the children of Beni Mazar who were sentenced to prison on charges of contempt of Islam and Teacher Demiana Abdul Nour and many others.
Such amnesty should help Coptic Christians feel better in their feasts and will show them that the state is really caring for them.
