Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, said during the prayers of the St. Mark martyrdom feast that Christians in Ethiopia consider Coptic church their mother and St. Mark their father since he preached to Africa.
Pope said that St. Mark knew his goal in life as well as the importance of time. We should learn from him, pope said.
