A number of Copts in Sydney are organizing a demonstration on Saturday against Abba Daniel, Bishop of Sydney, since he called police to prevent the entry of a Coptic man to the church.
The church had prevented Dr. Samir Habashi and two Coptic ministers from entering the church based on a decision of Church council.
It’s worth mentioning that Abba Daniel was suspended by Pope Shenouda III and returned to his office in the reign of Pope Tawadros, which sparked a crisis and opposition of some Copts in Sydney in 2012.
