Police have taken extra security measures at Karm village, Minya governorate, in order to prevent any potential sectarian clashes between Muslims and Copts in the villages.
The clashes started after rumors about romantic relationship between Christian man and Muslim woman. The mobs gathered in front of the house of the Christian man and burned it and several people were injured. Police were reported and the matter is currently under investigation.
