A fire broke out Wednesday morning in Old Cairo near Al-Khalifa neighborhood in Al-Tounsi market. Around 50 small storage rooms owned or rented by traders to store goods and furniture were primarily what caught on fire. According to the Ministry of Interior, 20 firefighting truck arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the flames.

A fire broke out Wednesday morning in Old Cairo near Al-Khalifa neighbourhood in Al-Tounsi market.
Around 50 small storage rooms owned or rented by traders to store goods and furniture were primarily what caught on fire.
According to the Ministry of Interior, 20 firefighting truck arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the flames.
An estimation of the damages has not been yet been released by the authorities.
An increasing number of fires has been reported across Egypt over the past two months.
