Dear readers, I will talk in this article about what was not said by the president Abdul Fattah al-Sisi in his recent television interview with Osama Kamal.
The president didn’t say how many prisoners in Egypt, and why they are in prison. Have they been arrested for being among the opposition or because they disagree with police or because they refused the wavier of Tiran and Sanafir to the Saudi Arabia?
The president didn’t tell us why the state doesn’t collect the fifty billion LE from people who don’t pay their bills like gas, electricity and water! He also talked about subsidized services by 40 to 50 percent of the cost. He didn’t tell us if this is the true cost or because the services are too bad!
The president didn’t tell us the reason behind the increased prices despite the strenuous efforts of the government to prevent that!
Moreover, he didn’t tell us about the feasibility studies for the new administrative capital or the 1.5 million acres! The president should tell us about such studies in order to assure us like he tried to do when he said that we have a ground water enough for us for a hundred year, and we will not be affected by the Ethiopian dam.
