Abba Makarios, bishop of Minya, denied statements claimed by several newspapers that he said that innocent people were arrested by police.
He added that he supports reconciliation in the right time after the law is enforced. He said that he is an Egyptian citizen defending the right of an Egyptian citizen no matter what her religion is.
