A number of militants opened fire at a policeman outside his home in Arish city, North Sinai, leaving him dead, according to a Monday statement by the Interior Ministry.
The armed group fled the scene immediately and the victim’s body was taken to Arish hospital, Youm7 reported security sources. Meanwhile, a roadside bomb detonated Sunday in a passing armored personnel carrier causing the death of a 30yr old police captain and leaving a 27yr old conscript injured in Central Sinai.
