Hundreds of Christians and Muslims had sohour (a meal Muslims have before dawn and starting the fast in Ramadan) together at the Evangelical Church in Mukattam Tuesday.
The Church distributed fawanees (Ramadan lanterns) amongst the attendees and a Christian woman joked with an Al-Azhar sheikh saying “how are you, father?”
The pastor of the church said suring the gathering “I challenge you that you distinguish between Muslims and Christians, we all worship God.”
