The volunteer-based initiative HarassMap has launched a campaign called “Ask Before you work to guarantee your right in a safe job,” aiming to end workplace sexual harassment. The initiative said that the campaign raises women’s awareness to ask if the companies they are applying to work for have a policy devoted to sexual harassment, which should not tolerate such crime, investigate harassment complaints and conduct training sessions for employees, supervisors and managers about the right of employees to a workplace free of sexual harassment.

 

 

The National Council for Disability Affairs (NCDA) stated that it is following up closely on the case of a mentally-challenged woman who got pregnant after she was raped by a worker in Hawamdeyya city in Giza; the rapist was detained.

 

 

Egypt will apply Japanese education system on 200 schools as part of Egypt-Japan cooperation to develop early childhood care and provide training for Egyptian experts. The decision was announced by the Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Waly during her meeting with the Ambassador of Japan in Cairo Takahiro Kagawa.

 

Kagawa stated that the embassy is ready to cooperate with the Ministry to develop education system of 14,000 nurseries.

A Facebook page called “We Gathered to Cheat,” notorious for leaking high school exams, has posted pictures claiming they are for question papers of algebra, geometry, geology and history exams that are scheduled on July 2 and July 4, according to Youm7.

 

The Education Ministry has cancelled at least two high school exams after they were leaked on social media, and accordingly postponed them to be held next month.
