Giza Pyramids decorated to mark June 30 anniversary
Giza Pyramids has been decorated by the date June 30 in green color to mark the third anniversary of June 30 mass protests that took to the streets in 2013 against the ex-regime of President Mohamed Morsi, who was ousted on July 3.
First ballet school kicks off in Upper Egypt
A group of Egyptian youths specialized in arts called “Alwanat” has opened the first ballet school in Upper Egypt’s Minya, reported Youm7. The multi-hall school includes 41 children aged from 4-16 years old.
The children will be trained by specialized trainers, and then will participate in debut ballet shows in Minya. Most ballet training centers are available in Cairo and Alexandria.
Egypt restores ancient limestone tablet from Paris
The Egyptian embassy in Paris received a limestone tablet that dates back to the Thirtieth Dynasty 360-343 BC from Millon auction house in Paris on June 27.

June 30: Marionette show at Zamalek’s ‘Elbet Alwan’

July 3: Nubian dance show at Institut Français d’Egypte
The Nubian Tannu team will perform a dance show on African Egypt music at the Institut Français d’Egypte (the French institute in Egypt) on July 3. The venue is located in Mounira district, Cairo.
Access to the event is for free; it is set to begin at 11 p.m. and last for an hour. The program includes dancing, special Nubian drinks and henna drawing.
