Pope Tawadros II, expressed frustration after Copts in Minya governorate suffered from several sectarian attacks without law enforcement. This came in a meeting held on Wednesday with Abba Makarios, Bishop of Minya, and Major General Ahmed Gamal Eddin, security adviser to the President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Bishop Makarious presented reports about the attacks in which customary reconciliation sessions were imposed on the victims after receiving numerous threats.
Report added that police in Minya are accused of complicity.
