Ahmed Abdel Tawab, Egyptian writer, said he doesn’t understand the visit of a delegation from the Committee of religious Affairs and Endowments in the House of representatives to Pope Tawadros in order to discuss the renewal of religious discourse.
He added that it is very embarrassing for the Pope to talk in that topic that touches the core of the Islamic Sharia.
Abdel Tawab also denounced statement of MP Osama al-Abd who said that they will apply moderate Islamic Sharia in the law of building churches.
