Muslim Brotherhood (MB) was not prepared for participating in the presidential elections held in 2012, said MB leading member Yasser Ali on Sunday
He added, in a statement to Al-Jazeera, that the group’s decision to run for presidency in Egypt was wrong, saying that MB was not ready to bear the responsibility of the country to take such critical decision.
The MB leader, who served as spokesperson of Egypt’s presidency during Mohamed Morsi’s era, stressed that he reviewed his ideological ideas during his presence in Aqrab Prison, saying, “We have not been prepared to manage a large number of issues, including the regional issues,”
