Egypt’s Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed will launch the first phase of a multilingual website aims to promote the country’s tourism sector, which has been struggling since the 2011 uprising, Youm7 reported.
“The new website will be created in 14 languages covering Egypt’s most important tourism markets and will dispel negative impression of tourism in Egypt,” Rashid was quoted by Youm7.
Egypt has been striving to overcome the negative effects of the recent crash of a Russian jetliner over the Sinai Peninsula, which killed all 224 people on board, leading to the banning of flights to Sharm al-Sheikh by Russia, Turkey and U.K.
