Egyptian Parliamentarian Elizabeth Abdel-Massih praised the churches building draft law, describing it as good law to resolve one of the most critical issues threatening Egypt, Youm7 reported on Thursday.
She clarified that the church also expressed its optimism over the law, stressing the need for implementing the new law immediately after its issuance from the House of Representatives.
The churches building law raised a state of controversy among the Egyptian people for years. Many experts blamed the absence of this law for the sectarian incidents witnessed in a large number of Egyptian provinces.
