Egyptian Foreign Ministry is contacting with the Libyan officials to confirm that 27 Egyptian nationals were kidnapped by militants in northern city of Tripoli, Ministry Spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid in a phone call to talk show “On Egypt’s Air” on Sunday evening.
Youm7 quoted early Sunday Libyan local media outlets as saying that the Egyptian workers were kidnapped by a group of militants on their way to the Libyan-Egyptian border.
