Egyptian MP Mahmoud Al-Saidy called for establishing an economic authority to receive the zakat funs and other religious donations instead of mosques, Youm7 reported.
The Egyptian parliamentarian said that the money could be used to achieve a number of economic projects and to help the young Egyptians find job opportunities during the coming period.
