Father Abdul Massieh Bassit, priest of St. Mary Church in Mostorod, said that Copts are currently suffering in Egypt more than they did under Mubarak regime.
He added that Copts thought they were safe after the revolution of June 30, but they are suffering from several sectarian incidents with increasing rate more than they did under Mubarak regime. The Copts now feel that the state is not protecting them.
