A number of Abyssinia priests celebrated the feast of Saint Takla in his church in Zagazig.
The church was the first to carry the name of the Ethiopian saint. It was rebuilt under the regime of Muhammad Ali to serve Ethiopian workers in Sharkia governorate after it was ruined by rain and floods.
Remains of the saint were perfumed as part of the celebration.
