Sisi, Kerry discuss bilateral issues, situation in Libya

President Abdel Fatah al Sisi met with US Secretary of State John Kerry in India on Thursday and discussed key bilateral issues including the situation in the Middle East, Youm7 reported.
During the meeting, Sisi asserted Egypt’s keenness to enhance strategic relations with the U.S. government, presidential spokesperson Alaa Youssef said in a statement.
From his side, Kerry stressed that Egypt remains a strategic partner of the United States and welcomed the Egyptian government’s efforts to carry out economic reforms.
Sisi arrived in Delhi on Thursday in a three-day visit and will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday to discuss security, counter-terrorism and trade issues.
Earlier on Thursday, Sisi met with India’s Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and discussed boosting bilateral relations between the two states
