After the Coptic Orthodox Church praised the new law of building churches, Father Makari Younan, Priest of St. Mark Chuch in Klot Bei, denounced the law and described it as "scandal for Egypt.
He added that this law should have been for houses of worship or for all buildings, but having a law for building churches is clear racism that offense the Egyptian state.
