"Egyptians Against Religious Discrimination" movement started a new campaign to collect signatures against building churches law.
Monir Megahid, head of the movement, said that the law doesn’t achieve its goal and was set this way in order to reproduce the current situation and put the same obstacles before building churches in Egypt.
It’s worth mentioning that Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark See, has welcomed the new law considering it a heal for long lasted wounds for stability and citizenship.
