Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and the UN envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura discussed through the telephone the developments of Syria’s ceasefire agreement recently reached between the US and Russia, Youm7 reported.
Shoukry asserted the need to work hard to resume the political negotiations at the earliest opportunity, and ensuring an equal participation of all Syrian parties, foreign ministry spokesperson Ahmed Abu Zeid was quoted by Youm7.
During the phone call, Mistura has briefed Shoukry on the conditions of a ceasefire.
