The Council of the Episcopal church will be held from 3 to 8 October at the Cathedral of All saints in Zamalek.
The Bishop Mounir Hanna, Archbishop of the Episcopal Church in Egypt and the Middle East, said that the conference will discuss challenges currently facing the world including poverty, illegal immigration, as well as the use of violence in the name of religion.
He added that the conference will also discuss challenges facing the church including the spread of false teachings such as gay marriage in the West.
