An Egyptian ministerial delegation headed to Greece on Tuesday morning to discuss investment by the Endowments Ministry in the city of Kavala and the island of Thassos.
The delegation included representatives from the Endowments Ministry, the Tourism Development Authority, the National Security Agency and the Administrative Control Authority.
Prior to their departure, the delegates met with the Cabinet to determine their objectives and develop a clear action plan, according to a press statement from an Endowments Ministry source, on the sidelines of a conference for the Egypt-Greece Business Council on Tuesday.
The visit aims to take action on the restoration of some antiquities belonging to Egypt in Greece under the supervision of the Egyptian Embassy there, said Hany Berzy, head of the Egyptian group at the Egypt-Greece Business Council during the conference.
"We want to invest in the Egyptian territories in Greece... and we call on members of the council to discuss the suggestion seriously," Berzy added.
